It is also known as the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) that is also referred to as Intermediate, is a public exam taken by students at the Higher Secondary School or Intercollegiate college (Junior college) in Pakistan. After they've completed Matriculation Grades 9 and 10 and 10, they are then admitted to an intermediate institution and complete their grade 11 and 12. After they have finished each of the 2 grades they are required to pass examinations that are standardized to the subject area they study. These tests are offered by provincial schools on a provincial scale, and by the FBISE on a federal scale. Once they pass the test students receive The Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC). This stage of e education is also known as FSc/FA/ICS. There are many streams that students can choose for their 11 or 12th grade that include pre-medical engineering , humanities (or social science) as well as computer science and commerce. Each stream has three electives as well as three mandatory subjects, including English, Urdu, Islamiyat (grade 11 only) and Pakistan Studies (grade 12 only).

Nepal

National Examination Board (Nepal) is the body that is responsible for the administration of all exams at senior schools.
